Yummy dhokla

Ingredients to make Yummy dhokla

  • Ingredients for dhokla batter
  • rice 3 cup
  • urad dal 1/1/2 cup
  • 1/1/4 Cup chana dal
  • One bid spoon methi dana
  • salt
  • Eno fruit salt one packet
  • Nd for tadka
  • Two spoons oil
  • Green chilli few
  • curry leaves few
  • mustard seeds one spoon
  • jeera one spoon
  • hing a pinch
  • Sugar two spoons if u dont like sweet u can ignore it u can add lil red chilli nd haldi also in tadka its optinal

How to make Yummy dhokla

  1. Take dal ND rice ND soak it ...for at least 6 to 8 hours then u grind it in grinder
  2. Then put salt ND leave it for overnight fermentation
  3. Then take some mixture in bowl mix well if u see ur batter is thick add lil water ..then greeze ur dhokla utencil then add enough fruit salt ND slightly mix ND put all dhokla batter in ur utensil
  4. Now put this dhokla mixture for cooking...for that u need a big ... Utencsil..put some water allow them to boil then put stand ND then place it in center of utensil cook it wen u see ur dhokla is puffy
  5. Then now come to tadka
  6. Take oil in kadai .... Put some mustard, zeera all things which mention in tadka ND add lil water then boil for ten mins... Wen u see ur dhokla is enough puffy ND spongy ...its cooked take five min rest then take it out ND cut as u like ND put this tadka all over to dhoklas......if u don't like sweet dhokla u can ignore sugar ..ND water just add a pinch of haldi ND red chilli ND stair it..ur two type of dhokla is ready

My Tip:

Dont give too much tadka otherwise all dhokla will be musshy
