ABOUT Orotti RECIPE

This is a quick recipe of a roti made with rice flour. These serve as snacks and also can be served with a curry on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw rice flour 2 cups
  2. Coconut 1/2 cup
  3. Salt
  4. Coconut oil 1 table spoon
  5. Ghee 2 table spoon

Instructions

  1. Boil water
  2. In a bowl add flour salt and coconut
  3. Pour boiling water in it and mix well to make a dough like roti dough
  4. In a greesed cover or greesed banana leaf spread a ball of the dough to a roti with fingers and in a tawa cook it as roti
  5. Serve hot with chutney or pickle
