Vermicilli upma

Ingredients to make Vermicilli upma

  • Vermicilli 200 gram
  • Green peas 2 tablespoons
  • carrot 1 piece
  • cauliflower 1/2 bowl
  • onion 1 piece
  • Carom seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • ghee or oil 2 tablespoons

How to make Vermicilli upma

  1. Dry roast the Vermicilli till golden
  2. Chopped carrot and Cauliflower
  3. Boil carrot , peas and Cauliflower
  4. In a pan put ghee or oil
  5. Add carom seeds
  6. Add chopped onion
  7. Fry it
  8. Add roasted Vermicilli in the onion
  9. Add 2 glasses of water in it
  10. Add salt and pepper powder
  11. Cover with a lid and let it cook on slow flame till soft
  12. When 90 percent done add boiled vegetables into it
  13. Mix well
  14. Serve hot
