Veggie Pasta

Ingredients to make Veggie Pasta

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 packets of button mushrooms (about 400gm sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 bell peppers (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 25gm tablespoon flour
  • 300ml milk
  • 1 packet amul cream (200ml)
  • 50gm grated cheddar cheese
  • 350gm fusilli (cooked al dente)
  • 100gm grated mozzarella cheese

How to make Veggie Pasta

  1. Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat the olive oil.
  2. Put in the mushrooms and saute them till they start to brown and loose moisture. Next add in the onions and saute till they turn transparent.
  3. Now put in the ingredients, chilli flakes, rosemary, garlic and saute it for a couple of minutes before putting in the chopped bell peppers.
  4. Add in the Worcestershire sauce to this mixture and combine it well. Season this mixture with salt and pepper, then add the flour and stir it properly.
  5. Carefully add in the milk, mixing it continuously upto the moment till the sauce thickens. Next put in the cream and let it simmer for about 5 minutes or so.
  6. Remove the pan from the heat and add the grated cheddar cheese and mix it well. Once the cheese has melted, put in the cooked pasta and combine this mixture properly.
  7. Take the pasta into a baking dish and sprinkle some grated mozzarella on the top, bake this at 180 degree Celsius for 15 minutes.
  8. Once cooked, serve hot and enjoy the delicious meal.
