About Chicken in Green Masala Recipe

This recipe is very tasty and easy to make, to be served with roti or pulao.

Chicken in Green Masala

Ingredients to make Chicken in Green Masala

  • chicken with bone 1/2 kg
  • onion large 1 no cut in small dice
  • Green chilli 1 nos
  • ginger 2 inch.
  • garlic 7-8 nos
  • coriander leaves 1 cup
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbs
  • Daniya jeera Powder 1 tbs.
  • Garam masala 1/2 tbs
  • chicken Masala 1 tbs
  • Red chilli Powder 1 tbs
  • salt to taste
  • potato 1 large size (optional)
  • Taj (cinnamon) 1-2 nos
  • star anise 1-2 nos
  • oil 1 tbs

How to make Chicken in Green Masala

  1. Take mixture jar add all green spices and grind it.
  2. Make a paste
  3. Take a bowl add chicken, green paste, turmeric powder, dhaniya jeera powder, garam masala, chicken masala and salt
  4. Mix properly
  5. Marinate 5 minuets
  6. Take a kadai and add oil
  7. Add whole spices and jeera
  8. when heat oil add red Chilli powder mix it
  9. Then add marinade chicken
  10. mix properly
  11. now add potatoes optional
  12. now add 2-3 tbs water and mix it properly
  13. cover the lid and cooked slow flame
  14. After 5 minuets mix properly and add onion
  15. cover the lid and cooked 5 minuets
  16. after 5 minuets mix all proper and cooked when chicken and potato cook well
  17. Cooked when oil come up
  18. Now chicken is ready serve with roti or nan

My Tip:

You can also add tomatoes as per your taste
