Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup boiled Bengal Gram
  2. 1 cup scraped coconut
  3. 1 cup jaggery
  4. Cardamon -2
  5. water - as required
  6. oil for deep frying
  7. 1 cup chick pea flour
  8. 1 cup rice flour


  1. Dissolve jaggery in a wok.strain it.
  2. Boil strained jaggery syrup.
  3. Add coconut.cook for sometime.
  4. Add boiled Bengal gram.Cook for sometime.
  5. Soon the mixture will form lump like.Switch off gas.Let it cool.
  6. Make small balls with the mixture.
  7. In another bowl make a batter with chick pea flour and rice flour with little water .
  8. Now dip that coconut ,Bengal gram balls in batter and deep fry in oil.
  9. Keep the gas flame in medium heat.
  10. Deep fry till cooked and crispy both sides.
  11. Take out in tissue paper to soak extra oil.
  12. Serve hot .
