About Bread Poha Recipe

This easy and quick snack Bread poha is a healthy and tasty breakfast meal made with break pieces mixed with othwer veggies in spices and herbs.

Ingredients to make Bread Poha

  • 5 slices bread (cut into cubes)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 cup capsicum chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Bread Poha

  1. HEAT 2 TSP OIL, ADD 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, LET THEM CRACKLE
  2. ADD 1 CHOPPED ONION, 1 CUP CABBAGE
  3. ADD 1 CUP CAPSICUM, 1/2 CUP GREEN PEAS
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  5. ADD 1/2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER, MIX & COOK ON LOW HEAT FOR 5 MINS
  6. ADD 1 TOMATO, SALT TO TASTE, COOK FOR 2 MINS UNTIL SOFT
  7. ADD 1 TSP LEMON JUICE
  8. ADD 5 CUBED BREAD SLICES, MIX WELL WITH THE VEGGIE MASALA
  9. ADD 1 TSP SUGAR (OPTIONAL), MIX & COOK FOR 1 MINUTE
  10. GARNISH WITH CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, SERVE HOT
