Navratri Special Shahi Paneer

Ingredients to make Navratri Special Shahi Paneer

  • paneer 200 gm
  • cream 3 tbs
  • curd 1.5 tbs
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • cashew 10-15
  • melon seeds 2 tbs
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Soaked saffron strands 6-7
  • ghee 5 tbs
  • Grated ginger 2 tsp
  • Powdered sugar 1.5 tsp

How to make Navratri Special Shahi Paneer

  1. HEAT 1 CUP WATER, ADD 3 CHOPPED TOMATOES, 2 TSP GRATED GINGER, 10-15 CASHEWS,1.5 TBSP MELON SEEDS
  2. COVER & COOK FOR 10 MINS
  3. STRAIN & BLEND INTO A FINE PASTE
  4. HEAT 5 TBSP GHEE, ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 3 GREEN CARDAMOMS, 2 GREEN CHILLIES
  5. ADD THE GROUND PASTE, STIR CONTINUOUSLY FOR 1 MINUTE
  6. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 1/2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER, MIX WELL
  7. ADD 1.5 TBSP BEATEN CURD, STIR CONTINUOUSLY FOR 2 MINS
  8. ADD SENDHA NAMAK TO TASTE, SIMMER FOR 2-3 MINS
  9. ADD SOME BOILED TOMATO STOCK / WATER
  10. ADD 1.5 TSP POWDERED SUGAR, 6-7 SOAKED SAFFRON STRANDS
  11. ADD 150 GMS CUBED COTTAGE CHEESE & SOME STOCK / WATER
  12. COVER & COOK FOR 3-4 MINS ON LOW HEAT
  13. ADD 3 TBSP FRESH CREAM & MIX
  14. ADD 1 TSP CARDAMOM POWDER, FEW FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES, TAKE OFF HEAT
