Slice or grate the potatoes in a thin slices and not mashed or totally crumbed.
Boil water in a pan and add the slices of potatoes just to remove the starch ( 2 to 3 mins). It should not get cooked or mashed in the process. Keep it aside in the bowl and let it cool completely.
Grate the cheese and keep it aside.
In a mixing bowl add the potatoes and dust a little rice flour to dry it up.
Add the grated cheese in the above potato mixture and make small balls and keep it aside for 2 to 3 mins.
In a small bowl add tbsp of rice flour and a little water with a pinch of salt, should be like batter consistency. Keep bread crumbs ready in a plate all by each side.
Heat the oil in kadai and ready for frying.
Now take the potato cheese balls one by one roll it in rice flr batter and then in bread crumbs, let it coat nicely and then keep it ready for frying.
Deep fry and enjoy it on a chilled evening or a surprisingly rainy day. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or Mayonnaise.
