Ingredients to make Milked rice idli/ milk bhapa pitha

  • Rice flour. 2 cups
  • Powder milk 4 tbs
  • sugar 1/3 cup
  • Cheese 2 tbs
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Liquid milk 1/3 cup
  • Shredded coconut as needed
  • Grated jaggery as to taste.

How to make Milked rice idli/ milk bhapa pitha

  1. TRANSFER 1&1/2 CUP OF RICE FLOUR IN A BOWL.
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP SALT.
  3. ADD 2 TBS POWDER MILK.
  4. MIX WELL.
  5. ADD 1/3 CUP OF LIQUID MILK (APROX)
  6. MIX WELL & BREAK THE BOND OF RICE FLOUR & MILK.
  7. RICE FLOUR SHOULD NOT BE OVER ALLOW IT TO REST FOR 3/4 HOURS.
  8. SIEVE IT WITH A LARGE HOLES STRAINER.
  9. RICE FLOUR THAT IS EVENLY MOISTENED & GRANULLED.
  10. ADD 1/3 CUP OF SUGAR.
  11. ADD 2 TBS MILK POWDER.
  12. ADD 2 TBS GRATED CHEESE.
  13. FOLD LIGHTLY.
  14. SPREAD A WASHED & LIGHT CLOTH OVER STEAMER.
  15. SET A COOKIE CUTTER&FILL 1/2 OF IT WITH PREPARED RICE FLOUR.
  16. ADD GRATED COCONUT.
  17. ADD GRATED DATE JAGGERY.
  18. ADD ANOTHER LAYER OF RICE FLOUR.
  19. STEAM IT UPTO 3/4 MINUTES.
  20. REMOVE THE CLOTH.
  21. REMOVE THE CUTTER.
  22. ENJOY THE DELICACY OF MILKED RICE IDLI.
