Onion pakora

Ingredients to make Onion pakora

  • onion- finely chopped-1
  • gram flour 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour 1/4 cup
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • oil for deep fry

How to make Onion pakora

  1. Finely chop onion.
  2. Take gram(besan) in a bowl.Add red chilli powder,salt and water.Make thick batter.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai.Add onion to the batter.Mix properly.
  4. Leave batter to oil and deep fry till it is brown and starts leaving nice aroma of onion.
  5. Onion pakora is ready to eat.Serve with tea or coffee.

My Tip:

Adding rice flour increases crispiness of pakora.
