About Dry Mix Veg Recipe

Very easy to prepare mix vegetables dish . It is cooked with left over vegetables in the refrigerator. Blended skilfully to a tasty treat.

Ingredients to make Dry Mix Veg

  • Washed, peeled and chopped mix vegetables of your choice, like cauliflower, potatoes, capsicum, tomatoes, carrot and peas (These are all basically little amount each as this item is prepared with the remaining vegetables)
  • onion 1 medium sized finely sliced.
  • ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp each
  • Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori Methi) a handful.
  • green chillies finely chopped 2 /3
  • cumin powder 1 /2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 /2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 /2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil 1 tbsp

How to make Dry Mix Veg

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the sliced onions.
  2. Fry until golden colour add to this ginger and garlic paste. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add all the powder masala and cook on slow flame until it is cooked. If required add a little water so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Now add all the mix vegetables and mix well.
  5. Add salt and reduce the flame to low. Cover and let it cook for five minutes.
  6. Add the dried fenugreek leaves and mix well. Cover and cook for another couple of minutes.
