Ingredients to make Greek Tzatziki sauce

  • Yogurt - 1cup
  • Cucumber - 1 Small, peeled and finely chopped or grated
  • Fresh Dill - 2tbsp, finely chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1~2tsp
  • Garlic - 1 clove, finely minced
  • Salt & Pepper - to taste

How to make Greek Tzatziki sauce

  1. Place the yogurt in a cheese cloth or other fine cotton cloth to remove excess water. We need thick yogurt for this dip.
  2. Place cucumber on a kitchen towel; squeeze and remove the excess liquid.
  3. Combine cucumber, dill, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl, stirring with a whisk. Chill for 1 hour before serving. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 days.
