Take 1 cup of Peanuts (Mungfali) in a pan and roast for 5 – 7 Min.
After roasting Peanuts let it cool down completely.
Then in a blender add roasted Peanuts and grind it into coarse powder.
The consistency should be roughly grinded keeping Peanut bites.
Heat 2 tsp of Clarified Butter (Ghee) in a pan.
Add grinded Peanuts and stir continuously on low flame until golden brown color.
Then add 1 cup of Milk into the pan and stir continuously.
Cover the lid and simmer on low flame until Peanuts soak all the Milk.
Open the lid and stir in between repeatedly.
Once Milk gets soaked, add ¼ cup of Sugar and stir well.
Add ¼ tsp of Cardamom (Elaichi) powder into the Halwa and stir continuously.
Stir Halwa for more 2 – 3 Min to let Sugar dissolve completely.
Peanut Halwa is now ready to serve hot and garnish with Saffron (Kesar).
