Baked veg samosa

Ingredients to make Baked veg samosa

  • potato 2
  • green peas 1/2 cup
  • carrot 1
  • ginger 1/2 piece
  • Green chilli 3
  • turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  • water 1/2 cup
  • cumin 2 tablespoons
  • Carrom seeds 2 tablespoons
  • salt as required
  • ghee 2 tablespoons
  • oil 5 tablespoons

How to make Baked veg samosa

  1. In a bowl mix maida , salt, carrom seeds with 5 teaspoons of oil, knead with required water. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and leave it for 15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl add cumin, boiled carrot, peas, mashed potatoes, ginger, green chilli, salt, chilli powder , turmeric powder and garam masala powder.
  3. Make small balls out of dough roll them flat and cut them into half.
  4. Touch some water to the side where the cut is made and shape it in the form of a cone and compress the vegetable mixture into it.
  5. Then close all the sides that are open with little water touching the dough to close the samosa and keep holding in shape.
  6. Preheat oven to 180 ° C. On a baking tray, spread aluminum foil, place the samosas and brush with a little bit of ghee .
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 ° C. Baked veg samosa is ready to serve
