Wholewheat Eggless Vanilla Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients to make Wholewheat Eggless Vanilla Chocolate Muffins

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar ( you can use part brown sugar if you prefer)
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup curd (yoghurt)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup cooking oil
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder to mix in divided mixture
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

How to make Wholewheat Eggless Vanilla Chocolate Muffins

  1. Preheat the oven for 180 degrees.Line muffin trays and keep aside
  2. In a bowl sift in the whole wheat and baking powder and keep aside.
  3. In another bowl mix together the milk, yogurt, sugar and oil together. Mix well until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Add this mix to the whole wheat mix, stir till they just come together. Do not over mix
  5. Half the mixture into two separate bowls. Into one, sift in the cocoa and mix gently and into the other mix in the vanilla
  6. Start dropping the batter one spoon at a time, alternating between the cocoa mix and vanilla mix to create a marble effect.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

My Tip:

You can add some chocolate chips for a bit of fun
