Khurma - Crunchy Munchy Snacks

Ingredients to make Khurma - Crunchy Munchy Snacks

  • 2cups all purpose flour
  • 1cup wheat flour
  • 5tbsp Warm ghee
  • 2cups sugar
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Khurma - Crunchy Munchy Snacks

  1. Mix the flours well in a bowl, add the warm ghee, salt. Add the ghee,mix well with your fingers.
  2. Add the water gradually and make a stiff dough,keep aside for half an hour. Divide the dough into two balls, roll a ball into a medium thick disc.
  3. Cut it as squares and deep fry until golden.
  4. Meanwhile boil the sugar ad water as two string sugar consistency. Drop the fried khurma into the sugar syrup.
  5. Drain quickly and let keep aside for few minutes. Store in an air tightened box.

instead of making sugar syrup , u can add half d amount of sugar into d flour mix ,that also make it crispier.unnessary sugar can be avoided.

Instead try it with powdered sugar to get the balanced taste nd add dalda to oil while frying they will turn crispy
