Yummy Creamy delicious Sabudana Kheer

Sago Kheer

Ingredients to make Sago Kheer

  • 1/4 cup sabudana(Sago)
  • 1/4 cup or more sugar
  • 3 cups full fat milk
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 10-12 cashews
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 2 tsp raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup warm water

How to make Sago Kheer

  1. Soak sago in warm water for 1 hour.
  2. Boil milk, once it starts boiling, add Sago along with water in which it was soaked; cook on low to medium heat until done
  3. Add sugar and cardamom. Mix well. Cook on low heat until kheer starts thickening. Switch off. It will thicken further on cooling
  4. Fry raisins and cashews in ghee. Add to kheer. Serve cold or hot as desired
