Methi Thepla

Ingredients to make Methi Thepla

  • 2 cups wheat flour/atta
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup fenugreek (methi leaves) cleaned and finely chopped
  • water to make the dough

How to make Methi Thepla

  1. Mix all the ingredients. Then add water and knead the dough to a big lump.
  2. Make small lumps and roll it as a round thin roti/paratha. Take a frying pan and heat it on a low flame.
  3. Smear some oil on the frying pan and fry the roti/paratha.
  4. Serve it hot with some pickle and curds.
