A well known yummilicious dish for fast

Sabudana khichadi

Ingredients to make Sabudana khichadi

  • 2 katori sabudana (Soaked in water for 3-4 hour's)
  • 4-5 medium sized potatoes (Boiled & peeled)
  • 2-3 green chillies-chopped
  • 2-3 dry red chillies whole
  • Coriender seeds-1 tsp
  • Fennal seeds-1tsp
  • Cunin seeds-1tsp
  • 1 katori corasly crushed peanuts
  • Oil/ghee for tadka
  • 5-6 curry leaves optional
  • Fresh Coriender-for garnishing
  • salt- as per taste
  • sugar-1.5 tbsp(can adjust as per ur taste

How to make Sabudana khichadi

  1. Heat 3tbsp oil/ghee in kadhahi
  2. Cut potatoes into big cubes
  3. Add coriender/Cumin & fennal seed, chopped green chillies & dry red chillies in oil & add cubed potatoes into this, let it cook for 2-3 min.
  4. Now add crushed peanuts, mix it well & wait for 2-3 mins.
  5. Now add Salt & sugar as per ur taste & add soaked sabudana , mix it well & let it cook for 5 min on slow flame.
  6. Now garnish with fresh coriender & serve with fresh raita.

My Tip:

Soak sabudana for 3-4 hours for getting best result.
