Ingredients to make Masala poori

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (haldi)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep-frying
  • water to knead dough

How to make Masala poori

  1. Mix in all the ingredients in a bowl by adding a little water at a time. Knead a firm dough and keep it aside for 10-15 mins.
  2. Then divide the dough into equal portions and roll .
  3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry till it it becomes golden color from both the sides.
  4. Serve it hot with curd or aachar/ chutney.
