About Lehsuni palak Recipe

Garlic flavoured spinach gravy

Lehsuni palak

Ingredients to make Lehsuni palak

  • 250 gm palak
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 15 to 20 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 dried red chilli
  • 3 tbsp curd

How to make Lehsuni palak

  1. Blanche the palak and dip it into iced cold water.
  2. Once cold chop half of the palak and puree the remaining half
  3. In a pan heat oil add cumin and half of the chopped garlic. Saute till brown. Add onions fry till golden
  4. Add coriander powder and turmeric and salt. Mix. Add the chopped spinach mix and cook for 3 to 4 min
  5. Add curd and give a stir. Now add the pureed palak and mix. Cook for 3 to 4 min
  6. In another pan heat oil. Add dried red cilli and sesame seeds. Add remaining garlic. Fry till golden
  7. Pour over the spinach gravy. Serve hot with roti
