These days even while fasting there are so many dishes to eat from the spicy Sabutana kofta to the delicious Dahi bade...but usually we eat them with either green chutney or curd but today I have made sweet chutney for you, which can also eaten during fasts. So now include it in the list of items you can't wait to eat during a fast.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Amchoor Powder (Dry Mango Powder) -1/2 Cup
  2. Grated / Mashed Jaggery -1/4 cup
  3. Roasted Cumin Powder -1/2 teaspoon
  4. Red Chili Powder -1/2 teaspoon
  5. Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Rock Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add water and Amchoor (dry mango powder)cook it on a low flame till boiled.
  2. Now add jaggery and to cook, let the jaggery dissolve
  3. Add red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, blackpepper and rock Salt.
  4. Stir it for a 2-3 minutes boil on low flame.
  5. You can check the consistency of the chutney as per your choice. If you want thin chutney to add more water in it.
  6. Chutney is ready now.
