Ingredients to make Pitthi wale pakore

  • 5 bread slices (cut in four pieces)
  • For the batter:
  • 1 and 1/2 cup soaked moong dal (yellow)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • A small piece of ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi

How to make Pitthi wale pakore

  1. Combine all the ingredients of the batter and grind to make a very fine paste with the help of a little water.
  2. Now heat the oil and dip the bread pieces in batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry these pakoras on a medium flame till they become golden brown in colour.
  4. Serve these hot pitthi pakoras with a minty dip.

My Tip:

We can also make mix veg or paneer pitthi pakora.
