Ingredients to make Thattai

  • Raw rice flour 1 cup
  • Urud dal 1 table spoon
  • Roasted gram 1 table spoon
  • Bengal gram dal 1 table spoon
  • chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  • salt
  • curry leaves
  • sesame seeds 1 teaspoon
  • oil for frying

How to make Thattai

  1. Dry fry urud Dal and powder finely
  2. Soak Bengal gram Dal for 1/2 an hour
  3. Powder roasted gram finely
  4. Mix all ingredients Except oil Like roti dough
  5. Greese a plastic paper and keep a small ball of dough in it and cover with another greesed sheet and with the help of a flat based vessel press it to flat
  6. Take carefully and fry in hot oil till crispy
