Sprouted Green Gram Halwa

Ingredients to make Sprouted Green Gram Halwa

  • 100 gms sprouted green gram
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons ghee
  • 4 tablespoons palm sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons cardamom powder
  • 8 cashews, chopped

How to make Sprouted Green Gram Halwa

  1. Wash the sprouted green gram well and make a smooth paste out of it using a blender
  2. Heat ghee in a pan. Add grounded paste and stir well in medium flame until it turns golden brown
  3. Add milk and sugar. Continue stirring
  4. When it begins to thick, add chopped cashews and cardamom powder
  5. Pour it in serving bowl and garnish with chopped cashews and serve

My Tip:

Sun dry the sprouts and powder and store it in a clean box. You can make halwa anytime using this powder
