Grilled stuffed Idlis

Ingredients to make Grilled stuffed Idlis

  • Idlis 8
  • boiled potato 1
  • Grated carrot , cabbage, bell pepper 2 table spoons each
  • onions finely chopped 2 table spoons
  • tomato Sauce
  • salt to taste
  • pepper powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • butter 3 table spoons
  • coriander leaves

How to make Grilled stuffed Idlis

  1. In a bowl add boiled potatoes, all veggies, coriander leaves, salt, pepper powder and mix well and keep aside.
  2. Heat a griller.
  3. Take an idli. Spread butter on one side and tomato sauce on the other side.
  4. Take another idli and spread butter on one side and keep a table spoon of veggies mix on another side.
  5. Now bring both the idlis together keeping butter spreaded side out.
  6. Place two sets on the sandwich griller, close it and cook till becomes light brown on both sides.

My Tip:

Instead of sauce green chutney made of mint can also be used to have extra flavour.
