Kesar peda

Ingredients to make Kesar peda

  • mawa 125 gm
  • Powdered sugar 30 gm
  • cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Milk 1 tbsp
  • saffron strends 10-12
  • Chopped pistachios 5-6

How to make Kesar peda

  1. Soak the saffron strends in luke warm milk.
  2. In a pan, dry roast the mawa for 2-3 mins, then add the saffron milk after 1 minute. Turn off the gas and let it cool.
  3. Add in powdered sugar, cardamom powder and pistachios. Mix it well together.
  4. Make pedas and garnish with pistachios.

My Tip:

Just only lightly roast the mawa.
