How to make Moong dal Namkeen (Less Oil)

  1. SOAK 1 CUP MOONG DAL FOR 1 HOUR
  2. STRAIN WATER COMPLETELY
  3. DRY ROAST SOAKED MOONG DAL FOR 5-10 MINUTES
  4. ROAST TILL WATER EVAPORATES
  5. WHEN MOONG DAL IS DRY, ADD 1 TSP SESAME OIL
  6. ROAST TILL MOONG DAL TURNS LIGHT RED. TURN OFF FLAME
  7. ADD 1/4 TSP SALT, KASHMIRI CHILLI POWDER AND CHAT MASALA
  8. MIX
  9. LESS OIL MOONG DAL NAMKEEN READY
