About Daliya(broken wheat) Cirque Recipe

An innovative modernized form given to broken wheat which is very rich in fibre and low in fat. And this cirque preparation is completely oil free and includes many veggies and ingredients and hence it's very much healthy.

Ingredients to make Daliya(broken wheat) Cirque

  • Broken wheat, 1 bowl
  • turmeric powder, 1/2tsp
  • water as required
  • salt to taste
  • onion, 1, chopped
  • capsicum, 1 small, chopped
  • Green chilli, 1, chopped
  • peas kernels, 1/4 bowl, boiled
  • carrot, 1 small, chopped
  • Chane, 1/4 bowl, roasted
  • lemon juice, 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder, 1tsp
  • Chaat masala, 1tsp
  • sooji, 1/2 cup

How to make Daliya(broken wheat) Cirque

  1. Take the daliya(broken wheat) and dry roast it.
  2. Now add water, salt and turmeric powder stir, simmer and let it cook until daliya turns soft.
  3. When daliya cools down a bit add onion, capsicum, Carrot, peas, green chilli, chane, lemon juice, 1/2tsp red chilli powder, chaat masala and mix everything well.
  4. Now prepare balls out of it.
  5. Now take sooji in a bowl and add salt, red chilli powder and with help of water prepare batter.
  6. Now dip the prepared broken wheat balls into this batter.
  7. Cook these balls in appam maker by turning and cooking on all sides.
  8. Enjoy with any dip.
