Chicken Momos Gravy

Ingredients to make Chicken Momos Gravy

  • maida - 1 cup
  • oil - 2 tablespoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • water - 1/4 Cup
  • For filling :
  • Minced chicken - 1 cup
  • Chopped onion - 1/2 cup
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • pepper powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Soya sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - to taste
  • For gravy :
  • Chopped onion - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped ginger - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped garlic - 1 teaspoon
  • red chilli sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • tomato sauce - 1/4 cup
  • sugar - 1/4 teaspoon
  • vinegar - 1/4 tablespoon
  • butter - 2 tablespoon
  • green chillies - 2
  • Chopped coriander leaves - few
  • salt - to taste
  • oil - for frying

How to make Chicken Momos Gravy

  1. Combine flour with salt butter.. add water little by little and knead into soft dough.
  2. Combine all ingredients with minced chicken in a bowl
  3. After half an hour roll the dough into equal sized balls.
  4. Fill with some amount of minced chicken mixture and shape them into momos of your desired shape.
  5. Lay the momos in a lightly greased steamer and steam them for about 10 minutes
  6. After that deep fry the momos till slightly brown.
  7. For making graving, add butter in a pan then add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste. Saute for 2 minutes.
  8. Pour the sauces and vinegar.
  9. Add required amount of water along with salt and sugar.
  10. When gravy got thickened add the fried momos.
  11. Switch off the flame and finally add some chopped green chillies and coriander leaves.

My Tip:

It is not necessary to fry the momos till golden brown as they were already got steamed.
