About SWEET POTATO WEDGES Recipe

I will make this wedges in batches and store them for a week or two , and will have once in a while for sudden hunger. These wedges are good for children , as they are crisp and free from oil

SWEET POTATO WEDGES

Ingredients to make SWEET POTATO WEDGES

  • Sweet potato – 2 cup ( chopped lengthwise).
  • chilli powder – 1 1/2 tsp.
  • coriander powder – 1/2 tsp.
  • Garam masala – 1/4 tsp.
  • pepper – 1/2 tsp.
  • Kasori methi – 1 tsp.
  • Mixed herbs – 1/2 tsp.
  • Ghee / butter – 2 tsp.
  • salt – as required.

How to make SWEET POTATO WEDGES

  1. Scrap the skin of sweet potato and cut them lengthwise , as thin as possible.
  2. Immerse the chopped potatoes to salt water , soaking in salt water prevents potatoes from changing its colour.
  3. Drain water completely and add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  4. Arrange each wedges in baking tray and bake for 20 mins or till the wedges turn golden brown.
  5. Enjoy with cup of coffee.

My Tip:

Chop the potatoes in even size for uniform cooking.
