About Cheesy Paneer Brocolli Balls... Recipe

Given a choice, kids will say nyaaaaah to broccoli, but they are a must-have because of their nutritional benefits!  So, tempt them with these yummy tikkis made with a combination of broccoli and cheese & paneer.. Use olive oil to cook these balls as it is rich in vitamin E.

Ingredients to make Cheesy Paneer Brocolli Balls...

  • 1cup cottage cheese(crumble paneer)
  • 2 tbsp grated processed cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped broccoli
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup boiled and grated potatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp olive oil for greasing and cooking

How to make Cheesy Paneer Brocolli Balls...

  1. Heat the olive oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies
  2. sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli and salt and sauté on a slow flame for 3 minutes. Keep aside to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, transfer the broccoli mixture into a deep bowl,
  5. add the potatoes & cheese & cruble paneer mix well .
  6. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a ball shape..
  7. Heat a appe pan and cook the balls using olive oil
  8. till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  9. serve immediately..
