Ingredients to make Ambe dal/ kairichi dal

  • 1 Cup split bengl gram
  • 1 Medium size grated raw mango
  • 2 Green chilli
  • coriander
  • curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 pried red chili
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  • oil to tempeing
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste

How to make Ambe dal/ kairichi dal

  1. SOAK CHANA DAL IN WATER FOR 4 HOURS
  2. GREATED RAW MANGO
  3. ADD THE CHANA DAL GREEN CHILLI AND GINGER IN A BLENDER AND BLEND WELL IT BECOME A PAST
  4. TRANSFER DAL MIXTURE TO A BOWL
  5. ADD GREATED RAW MANGO TO DAL MIXTURE
  6. HEAT OIL IN PAN ADD MUSTARD SEED , WAIT TILL IT CRACKE, ADD ASAFOETIDA , BROKEN RED CHILLIES AND TURMERIC POWDER
  7. TAKE IT FROM HEAT
  8. POUR THE TEMPERING TO ABOVE MIXTURE AND MIX WELL
