Milk Powder Cake (Eggless)

Ingredients to make Milk Powder Cake (Eggless)

  • all purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
  • Milk Powder - 1/2 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • salt - a Pinch
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp

How to make Milk Powder Cake (Eggless)

  1. In a mixing bowl, add all the dry ingredients. Sift the flour and mix it well.
  2. Now add oil and use an electric hand blender to blend the ingredients well. Pour milk slowly into this mixture( little at a time). Once all the milk has been added, the texture of the batter will be smooth and thin. Add the essence and give it one final stir.
  3. Preheat the oven for about 5 minutes. Grease the baking pan and pour the batter in it, let the batter rest in the pan for 5-10 minutes before placing it in the oven.
  4. Bake it at 176 degrees celsius for about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Insert a toothpick in the center and see if it comes out clean. If it does your cake is ready!

My Tip:

Even after using 1 cup milk, if the consistency of the batter is thick, feel free to add some more milk little by little as this will result into a moist and spongy cake.
