Ingredients to make Keerai Kootu(Ease Digestion)

  • palak 500 gms
  • moong dal 1/2 cup
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • hing
  • To grind
  • coconut 1/2 cup
  • jeera 1 tsp
  • Red chillies 4-5
  • To Temper
  • coconut oil 1 tbsp
  • mustard 1 tsp
  • urad dal 1 tsp
  • curry leaves 1 sprig

How to make Keerai Kootu(Ease Digestion)

  1. RINSE AND BOIL 1/2 CUP MOONG DAL WITH PINCH OF TURMERIC POWDER
  2. ADD CHOPPED 500 GMS PALAK OR ANY GREEN LEAVES
  3. MIX AND BOIL FOR 10 MINUTES TO COOK DAL
  4. WHEN DAL IS COOKED, ADD REQUIRED SALT AND HING
  5. GRIND 1/2 CUP COCONUT, 1 TSP JEERA AND 4 RED CHILLIES
  6. ADD COCONUT PASTE TO DAL. MIX AND BOIL FOR 5 MINUTES
  7. ADD TEMPERING AND SERVE
