Instant Rava Pakodas

Ingredients to make Instant Rava Pakodas

  • Rava (sooji) - 1 Cup
  • curd - 1/2 cup
  • onion 1Small( finely chopped)
  • green chillies - 2 to 3 ( Finely chopped)
  • Corriander leaves chopped
  • ginger - 1 inch piece ( finely chopped)
  • salt - as per taste
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • cumin Powder(zeera pwd) - 1Tsp
  • haldi powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • baking soda -1/4 tsp

How to make Instant Rava Pakodas

  1. Take a bowl add rava, curd, onion, chillies, corriander leaves and ginger to it. Mix it really well.
  2. Now make batter of it by adding little water to it. The consistency should not be very watery nor very thick. It should be same like you make for dal pakodas.
  3. Add salt, chilly pwd, cumin pwd, haldi pwd to it and mix well. Keep it covered for 10 mins.
  4. After 10 mins add baking soda to the batter and deep fry the pakodas on medium flame.
  5. Fry it till golden brown in color. Remove it on paper napkins. Your hot and crispy pakodas are ready to eat.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.

My Tip:

After mixing the baking soda fry the pakodas immediately
