Yummy easy version of original Enchiladas

Bread Enchiladas

Ingredients to make Bread Enchiladas

  • For sauce:
  • 3 big tomatoes pureed
  • 1 tbsp Red chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp red chillies flakes
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • For stuffing:
  • 2 tbsp boiled red kidney beans
  • 2 tbsp boiled corn
  • 3 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1tsp red chili flakes
  • 5-6 bread
  • For topping
  • 1/3 cup or more grated cheese
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes (Optional)

How to make Bread Enchiladas

  1. Mix all ingredients mentioned under sauce section in a saucepan. Bring to boil, cook for a minute. Switch off. Keep it aside
  2. Preheat oven to 180. Grease baking pan
  3. Mix all ingredients mentioned under stuffing section. Keep it aside
  4. Trim edges of bread. Gently roll with rolling pin
  5. Place stuffing at centre, apply water on edges. Seal the bread and place in baking dish
  6. Pour prepared sauce over bread. Add grated cheese, oregano, parsley, red chillies flakes as topping over sauce
  7. Bake for 16-20 minutes. Serve warm
