idli burger

Ingredients to make idli burger

  • fried idli 10
  • butter 1 tbsp
  • potato 2 mashed
  • onion 1 fined chopped and slices for assembling
  • poha 1/4 cup soaked and drained
  • bread crums
  • peas 1/2 cup boiled
  • spices:-salt,peper,amchur powder,oregano,tumeric, as per taste
  • maida 2 tbsp
  • cornflour 1 tbsp
  • 1/2 tbsp makkai aata
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • cheese slice (1=4 parts)
  • peri peri and some sour sauce as needed

How to make idli burger

  1. in a pan add butter then onion and peas and saute for 2 minutes then add potato and add poha,salt and spices and mix with potato masher and let it cool down.
  2. make patty out of it and dip in coating(maida,cornflour,makkai aata,oil) patty should be of idli size.
  3. next dip in bread crums and fry it till golden brown.
  4. Assembling:- take 1 piece of idli apply sauce keep onion pieces then cheese slice then patty then again cheese then sauce and top with idli serve hot.
