Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Dosa batter 1 cup
  2. Ingredients for stuffing:
  3. 1 boiled aloo
  4. 1/2 onion, chopped
  5. 1 tsp rai/mustard and jeera/cumin seeds
  6. A pinch of hing/asafoetida
  7. A pinch of urad dal
  8. Few curry leves
  9. Salt to taste
  10. A pinch of haldi/turmeric powder
  11. 1 green chilli, chopped
  12. 1 tbsp fresh dhaniya/ coriander, chopped
  13. 2 tbsp blanched carrot and peas
  14. 2 slices of bread
  15. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Take a pan, add in oil, when the oil tempers, add the rai, jeera, hing, curry leaves, urad dal and saute till the colour changes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and satue till they are pink in colour, then add the green chilles and mix it well. Next add the carrot, peas, salt, haldi and mix it well. Then add the chopped aloo, fresh dhaniya and mix it well. Keep it aside.
  3. Take the bread and apply the stuffing, cover it with another bread and cut it into 4 triangles and keep aside.
  4. Take a pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil, then take the dosa batter, dip the sandwich into it and shallow fry it on both sides till it's golden brown in colour.
  5. Serve it hot with your choice of chutney.
