Karipatti halwa

Ingredients to make Karipatti halwa

  • Raw rice flour 1/2 cup
  • Water strained from cooked rice 2 cups
  • Karipatti (palm tree jaggery)
  • ghee 3 tablespoon
  • cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • cashew 10

How to make Karipatti halwa

  1. In a bowl mix rice flour and rice water well
  2. Start cooking it
  3. When it starts boiling add jaggery syrup and mix well
  4. Cook till it thickens
  5. Add ghee and cardamom powder
  6. In a greased plate spread it and let it cool add fried cashews over it
  7. Cut and refrigerate it and serve cool
