Ingredients to make Annakut

  • pumpkin- 1/4 cup, diced
  • potatoes- 2
  • Bottlegourd- 1/4 cup, diced
  • onion- 1
  • tomatoes-2
  • capsicum- 1 diced
  • cabbage- 1/2 head, chopped
  • radish- 1, chopped
  • carrot- 1, chopped
  • ginger- 1/ 4 tsp, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Annakut

  1. Boil the potatoes till they are done. Peel, wash and chop all the veggies.
  2. In a cooker, heat the oil and add the cumin seeds. Add in the ginger, onions and tomatoes. Let it cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add in the diced veggies and saute till it's cooked well.
  4. Add salt as per taste and serve.

My Tip:

Add a little hing to give it a flavour.
