About Sweet Corn Sundal Recipe

An easy and wonderful snack which can be prepared under 5 minutes.

Sweet Corn Sundal

Ingredients to make Sweet Corn Sundal

  • Sweet corn kernels - 2 cups
  • Grated coconut - 4 tablespoon
  • mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • urad dal - 1 teaspoon
  • green chillies - 2
  • Dry red chilly - 1
  • curry leaves - few
  • lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • oil - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - to taste

How to make Sweet Corn Sundal

  1. Steam the sweet corn kernels for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Add oil in a pan then add mustard seeds and allow them to crackle in a low flame.
  3. Add chopped red chilly green chillies curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  4. Add grated coconut and salt and mix well.
  5. Switch off the flame. Finally squeeze out the lemon juice and give a good mix.

My Tip:

A teaspoon of pepper powder can enhance the flavour of the sundal.
