ABOUT Carrot, Peas and Dill Muffins RECIPE

Carrot, Peas and Dill Muffins are Savoury muffins. It is loaded with goodness of carrot, peas and dill leaves. It is high in protein as it contains egg, milk and cheese which is good for the growth and development of kids in their growing years. The ingredients of this muffin are simple and it is very good dish for a kids party.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. All purpose flour - 1 cup
  2. Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  3. Baking Soda - 1/4 teaspoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Egg - 1 large
  6. Milk - 1 cup
  7. Cheese - grated, 1/4 cup
  8. Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Carrot - grated, 1/2 cup
  10. Green Peas - 1/4 cup
  11. Dill Leaves - chopped, 2 tablespoon
  12. Refined Oil - 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 200 degree C for 5 minutes and line the muffin moulds with cupcake liner.
  2. Sieve all purpose flour, a pinch of salt, baking powder and baking soda altogether and keep aside.
  3. Now take a bowl and beat the egg into it.
  4. Next add oil, grated cheese, grated carrot, peas, dill leaves, oregano and salt. Give a good mix.
  5. Slowly fold the dry flour mixture into the wet mixture.
  6. Add milk slowly into the mixture while folding.
  7. Finally fill the 2/3 of the muffin liner with the batter and bake it at 200 degree C in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean.
  8. Allow them to cool and serve them with dip or ketchup or munch just like that.
