Thai Yellow Curry Paste

Ingredients to make Thai Yellow Curry Paste

  • 2 lemongrass stem sliced
  • 5 kaffir lime leaves chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch ginger Piece
  • 1 tbsp cleaned prawn paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp coriander Seeds
  • 5 shallots
  • 4 bird's eye red chilly
  • 4 dried red chilly

How to make Thai Yellow Curry Paste

  1. REMOVE THE SKIN OF LEMONGRASS
  2. SLICE THE STEM
  3. PEEL THE SHALLOTS
  4. TAKE KAFFIR LIME LEAVES
  5. CHOP THE LEAVES
  6. TAKE FRESH THAI TURMERIC
  7. SLICE IT
  8. PEEL THE GARLIC CLOVES
  9. TAKE CLEANED PRAWNS AND POUND IT USING MORTAR AND PESTLE
  10. TAKE DRIED RED CHILLY AND BIRD'S EYE CHILLY
  11. TRANSFER ALL THE INGREDIENTS TO A BLENDER, INCLUDING CORIANDER AND CUMIN SEEDS
  12. ADD GINGER AND OLIVE OIL
  13. BLEND IT TO COARSE PASTE AND STORE IN A AIR TIGHT CONTAINER FOR A WEEK

My Tip:

You can also add salt to preserve it for long time. But remember and adjust the salt while cooking
