About Masala vada Recipe

Spicy and flavour full vada

Masala vada

Ingredients to make Masala vada

  • chana dal 1/2 cup
  • cinnamon powder a pinch
  • garlic 3 numbers
  • ginger 1 small piece
  • green chilly 2 numbers
  • fennel seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • onion chopped 1 small
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tablespoon
  • curry leaves chopped 2"tablespoon
  • turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt
  • oil for frying

How to make Masala vada

  1. Wash and soak dal for 4 hours
  2. In a mixer add ginger garlic green chilly and fennel seeds and grind
  3. Add dal cinnamon powder and grind coarsely
  4. Add chopped onion chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves
  5. Add salt turmeric powder and mix well
  6. Make small balls and press with palm to get the shape
  7. Deep fry in low flame till crispy
  8. Serve hot with hot tea
