Bread halwa!

Ingredients to make Bread halwa!

  • ghee 10 gm
  • Milkmade tin 200 gm
  • Kova/mava 50 gm
  • sugar 50 gm
  • Bread 1 pkt(12 slices)
  • Dry fruits- roasted kaju, badam, dates, dried grapes 20-30 gms

How to make Bread halwa!

  1. On the stove, place a pan and add some ghee. To this, add bread slices and stir fry till they're golden brown.
  2. Now, in another deep vessel, add dryfruits and roast them in very little ghee, keep some these aside for garnishing later.
  3. Add sugar and kova/mava to the vessel and mix continuously on low flame.
  4. Now add the roasted bread slices and the milk made mix and stir continuously.
  5. In about 1-3 minutes, it will start to thicken and it is ready to serve! Garnish with more dry fruits and it's ready!

My Tip:

Can be served with icecream
