Layered Samosa

Ingredients to make Layered Samosa

  • 1 cup refind flour
  • 1/2 tbsp carrom seeds
  • salt to taste
  • oil 4 tbsp for filling
  • hing 1 pinch
  • Green chilli2
  • Raw banana 4
  • red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Corriender
  • turmeric
  • Garam masala
  • oil for fry

How to make Layered Samosa

  1. LAYERED SAMOSA
  2. TAKE 1 CUP REFIND FLOUR (MAIDA)ADD 2 TBSP OIL,1/2TBSP SALT&1/2TBSP CAROM SEEDS (AJWAINE).KNEAD DOUGH WITH REQUIRED WATER
  3. DOUGH MUST BE SOFT.ADD 1 TBSP OIL .COVER IT FOR 15 MINUTES
  4. HEAT A PAN ADD 4 TBSP OIL &1/2 TBSP HING&1/2TBSP CUMIN SEEDS
  5. ADD 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI SAUTE IT
  6. ADD MASHED RAW BANANA (200GM,)
  7. PUT3/4 TBSP SALT,1/2 RED CHILLI,1/4 TURMERIC.MIX IT
  8. ADD 1/2 GARAM MASALA &FINELY ADD CORRIENDER.
  9. COOK 4 MINUTES IN MEDIUM FLAME.FILLING IS READY
  10. TAKE A PORTION OF DOUGH.MAKE SMALL BALLS
  11. ROLL IT.CUT INTO HALF.CUT 1 PORTION LIKE THIS
  12. CUT STRIPS LIKE THIS SPREAD WATER
  13. COVER WITH ANOTHER PORTION.ADJUST IT WITH HAND
  14. NOW FOLD IT YOU CAN SEE HOW LAYERS LOOK
  15. FILL THE MIXTURE
  16. SEAL THE EDGES WITH WATER.SEAL PROPERLY
  17. SEE HOW IT LOOKS
  18. NOW FRY LAYERED SAMOSA.IN LOW-MEDIUM FLAME
  19. FLIP IT &FRY ANOTHER SIDE
