About Frittata Recipe

An Italian Frittata is loved by egg lovers . A wholesome flavourful breakfast / brunch loved by kids and adults as well . So easy to prepare and yummy to eat .

Frittata

Ingredients to make Frittata

  • eggs 5
  • Milk 1/4 glass .
  • onion medium sized 1 chopped
  • tomato puree 2 tablespoon
  • Yellow bell pepper 1 small finely chopped .
  • Dried thyme leaves as required .
  • Any spinach or herbs of your choice 1/2 cup .
  • Vegetable broth 3 tablespoons
  • salt as taste
  • pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • butter 2 tablespoons
  • Grated cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons

How to make Frittata

  1. In a bowl , beat the eggs .
  2. Add all the ingredients except few chopped spinach , butter and cheese .
  3. whisk the mixture to a frothy state .
  4. Heat a tablespoon of butter in a medium sized skillet .
  5. Keep beating the eggs till you pour to the skillet .
  6. See the poured egg is evenly spread and looks thick .
  7. Maintain a low flame .
  8. Let the downside cook completely .
  9. Now add the grated cheese , chopped spinaches over the open side .
  10. Cover the pan for few more minutes so that that upper part gets cooked with no egg liquid visible .
  11. This cooking process under low flame takes about 7 to 10 minutes . Pls do wait patiently for the yummy Frittata to be prepared .
  12. Open the lid and could see the Frittata is cooked so well .
  13. Serve hot .

My Tip:

I preferred stovetop method . You could use oven too if preferred .
