it’s a rice dish cooked in chicken stalk in mild spices. a famous delicacy of United Arab Emirates.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. chicken legs 2 ( whole leg in big pieces in half chicken 2 pieces)
  2. Rice 150 gm
  3. 2 Carrots
  4. 2 big onions 1 small
  5. ginger paste 1 tbsn
  6. garlic paste 1 tbsn
  7. 1 lemons dried whole
  8. 2 tomatoes
  9. Salt
  10. Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsn
  11. Red chilli powder 1 tspn
  12. Black pepper powder 1/2 tspn
  13. ghee 4 to 5 tspn
  14. refined oil for frying onions
  15. cashews nuts 25
  16. coriander leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. 1 soak rice for 1 hr
  2. cut and fry 2 big onions
  3. fry cashews
  4. chop 1 small onion
  5. chop tomatoes
  6. chop carrots lengthwise
  7. in a wok add ghee . add chopped onions . ginger garlic paste followed by chopped tomatoes
  8. in another wok shallow fry chicken legs
  9. in a big pot add onion tomatoes mixture and chicken legs add Garam Masala. red chilli powder coriander powder salt dried lemon ghee . and add 2 glass water let it boil for 25 minuets. both chicken legs should be covered by water
  10. after cooking for 25 minuets check the chicken pieces. if it’s done take out both the pieces. and put soaked rice in the water add chopped carrots in it cook it till done
  11. put sone chilli powder salt and oil over chicken pieces shallow fry these pieces
  12. now in a big plate first put cooked rice sprinkle Fried onions. cashews. coriander leaves put chicken pieces over it
